[ He has wondered if (when?) Leo would crack, and how. Truth be told, he'd have taken bets on another appearance of Jabberwock, but he is relieved that this might perhaps turn out to be something less dramatic. ]

Is this some feeble attempt to discharge your guilty conscience? So that when the worst happens, you can say to yourself, "well, I tried."

[ Switching to audio is a risk; because not only is he worried, he is excited, and it's difficult to hide this in his voice. But his last attempt to wheedle the information out of Leo was a failure; so this time, he'll try a different approach, one that he's not actually used to. ]
